Abstract

The article presents Saint Joseph’s silence and trust as models of faith in dialogue with the challenges of modern rationality. It emphasizes that faith and reason are complementary dimensions and that believing involves openness, freedom, and readiness to respond to God. Through Joseph’s response to Mary’s pregnancy and his interpretation of dreams, the article highlights his ability to listen, discern, and act with justice and mercy. Finally, it presents him as an example of a silent yet active faith, expressed through caring for others and daily commitment to God’s plan of love.
