Abstract

The expansion of generative artificial intelligence has brought these technologies closer to everyday life and made questions about their human implications more visible. In a world marked by the speed of communication and the availability of information, it is necessary to examine what we delegate and how our relationships are transformed. This article proposes a reflection starting from the number 100 of the encyclical Magnifica humanitas by Leo XIV and develops its three warnings: the ease to achieve results, the impression of objectivity and the simulation of human communication. In dialogue with philosophical contributions and examples from everyday life, the conditions necessary to preserve self-judgment and exercise effective responsibility are examined. Finally, vulnerability is addressed as part of the human condition and it is argued that upgrading cannot be reduced to increased performance or the technical removal of its limits. Safeguarding the human side requires directing innovation towards the care of the person and the common good.
