Abstract

Drawing on Pope Francis’s encyclical Fratelli tutti, the article presents fraternity as the foundation of evangelization and a response to social and ecclesial crises. In light of the pandemic, it questions pastoral approaches focused primarily on activities and sacramental practices, calling instead for service, generosity, and closeness to those who suffer as essential expressions of faith. Inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, it emphasizes dialogue, discernment, and community support. Finally, it calls for a more missionary and synodal Church that makes God’s love visible through fraternal relationships and concrete acts of solidarity.
