The article addresses immigration in France, highlighting that, after 50 years, it is a controversial issue. Some see it as essential for the country, while others perceive it as a threat to identity and economy. The author reflects on the reception of immigrants, relating his experience as a foreigner in various countries with the Church's call to hospitality. He points out that welcoming is a necessary act, but it must be accompanied by a community, recognizing in immigrants, especially Christians, a gift and a mission sent by God.
