Lay participation in the church from a synodal perspective
Keywords:
Lay, Synodality, MissionAbstract
The article addresses the participation of the laity in the Church from a synodal perspective, emphasizing the importance of evangelization and the active role of all the baptized in the mission of the Church. Synodality is crucial to strengthen lay participation, especially in post-pandemic times, where a self-assessment of ecclesiastical structures is required. It is emphasized that the participation of the lay person must be conscious and oriented towards the construction of the Kingdom of God, moving away from empty ritualisms.
